in need of a good home: Petey, a 4-month-old male German shepherd mix is one of many animals available for adoption at Tracy Animal Shelter. Also waiting are Dusty, a 2-year-old male chi-doxi mix; Rascal, a 2-year-old male chi-pug mix; Roxy, a 3-year-old female rottweiler; Sandy, a young adult female shepherd-retriever mix; and Kalina, a 5-year-old female Lab. The shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
