The man held onto his wallet and called police. An officer arrived 10 minutes later and saw the group in the shopping center.
Police didn’t treat the incident as a crime, but did arrest one of the teens on a warrant for a previous charge of marijuana possession and resisting police.
Tracy police received 145 calls Wednesday, Jan. 16. The following is a sample of those reports.
1:01 p.m.: A woman told police that a man threatened her with a knife on 12th Street after she admonished him for littering. Police found the 19-year-old man at Tracy Public Library at Eaton Avenue and Holly Drive arrested him.
6:39 p.m.: Police went to 21st and Deborah streets after someone reported a naked man in the street. A neighbor told police that he had been standing there for three hours before he took off his clothes. Police noted that he would not respond to officers’ commands, and just stared into the sky. Officers called an ambulance for him.
