• Georgia Grove, 91, of Chico, a former Tracy resident, died Sunday, Dec. 30, at Paradise Hospice House in Paradise. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at First United Methodist Church, 1610 East St. Ashes will be scattered privately at a later date. • Cinta Rose Borg, a 12-year Tracy resident, died Dec. 25 in Tracy at age 87. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Arrangements will be handled by Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. • Herman LeRoy “Roy” McCarty, 83, a retired U.S. Navy lieutenant, died Dec. 24 of pancreatic cancer. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.

• John “Jack” Moriarty, 63, a Tracy resident of 21 years, died Dec. 20 at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. A celebration of his life will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, in Santa Nella. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S.
