A 42-year-old Tracy man and three other people were killed on New Year’s Eve hours before midnight in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 12 in northern San Joaquin County.

Razek Azizi, of Tracy, was driving a 2012 Toyota when he was involved in a head-on collision with a 2002 Hyundai, according to a crash report by Stockton-based California Highway Patrol Officer B. Mangham.

Azizi was pronounced dead at the scene, the report states.

The occupants of the Hyundai — driver Siara Biddle, 23, and passengers Tierra Anderson, 28, and Raphael Hill, 31 — all of Fairfield, were also pronounced dead at the scene.

The report indicates that officers arrived on the scene at 9:10 p.m.

The Hyundai was found on its roof in a ditch on the south side of the highway and the Toyota was found straddling the east and westbound lanes of the roadway. No ejections were reported.

“Both vehicles had sustained major front end damage consistent with a head-on collision,” Mangham states in the report.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

It’s unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash. The road was closed for nearly four hours as the scene was documented and cleared, the report states.
