A 42-year-old Tracy man and three other people were killed on New Year’s Eve hours before midnight in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 12 in northern San Joaquin County.

Razek Azizi, of Tracy, was driving a 2012 Toyota when he was involved in a head-on collision with a 2002 Hyundai, according to a crash report by Stockton-based California Highway Patrol Officer B. Mangham.

Azizi was pronounced dead at the scene, the report states.

The occupants of the Hyundai — driver Siara Biddle, 23, and passengers Tierra Anderson, 28, and Raphael Hill, 31 — all of Fairfield, were also pronounced dead at the scene.

The report indicates that officers arrived on the scene at 9:10 p.m.

The Hyundai was found on its roof in a ditch on the south side of the highway and the Toyota was found straddling the east and westbound lanes of the roadway. No ejections were reported.

“Both vehicles had sustained major front end damage consistent with a head-on collision,” Mangham states in the report.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

It’s unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash. The road was closed for nearly four hours as the scene was documented and cleared, the report states.

Anyone with information should call CHP at 943-8600.

It looked like a pretty trivial fender-bender. I actually sit on the other side of the fence and would rather see the press cover more important matters. Car accidents shouldnt typically make it into newpapers or onto the nightly news. That time/space is valuable and should be spent on things like international events, state and local government actions, politics, etc, not on fluff like the Kardashians, sports, or random car wrecks and fires. The sensational pictures of accident scenes make the media come running but do the resulting stories really benefit the public?

It's so tragic. I just peeped out their FB pages and Siara was thrilled her baby's dad left her money on Sunday to start the new year off with and Tierra JUST told her friend Miranda to be careful in Vallejo on NYE while spending it with her bf. Man, Miranda must be thanking her lucky stars she wasn't in the car with them that night. Raphael was engaged to Tierra and it looks like they had two kids together, too. RIP to everyone involved. Just too bad.
