A second caller also reported a man with a knife in the area, but saw him walking toward a nearby park.
Police used a dog to help check the park and the school, but no one was found.
Tracy police received 123 calls for service Thursday, Dec. 27. The following is a sample of those reports.
12:08 a.m.: Police arrested a man on a warrant for failure to appear before a court on a felony charge and also faces charges of grand theft and possession of stolen property. He was stopped by police while walking near Foster’s Freeze, 28 E. Grant Line Road.
12:09 p.m.: Significant graffiti was reported in the bathrooms at Tracy Ballpark, 2001 Bessie Ave.
5:25 p.m.: An accident between a Ford Focus and Scion tied up traffic on Valpico Road. No major injuries were reported.
