Three men allegedly got out of a Chevy truck in the area of Balboa Drive and Derecho Way at around 2:10 p.m. Another person exited a residence, and the group began fighting.
One man was allegedly hit in the head with an unknown type of bottle, and at least two men were seen bleeding. Another man was reportedly stabbed and taken to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital by a family member.
Police arrested a 25-year-old man for possession of marijuana. It’s unclear what his possible role was in the fight. Officers also requested that the truck be towed.
Tracy police received 383 calls for service Friday, Dec. 14, to Sunday, Dec. 16. The following is a sample of those calls.
Sunday
12:10 p.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old man who allegedly punched and kicked his parent at a home on the 1400 block of Cottonwood Drive. He was taken to San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp on undisclosed charges.
5:29 p.m.: A 25-year-old man was arrested at a residence on the 400 block of Buena Tierra Drive. The man allegedly attacked his aunt and uncle at the location. They left the house and called police at a nearby gas station because they were too afraid to return. The man is allegedly a drug user and specifically uses bath salts. He also had an outstanding warrant.
Saturday
12:24 a.m.: A boy was booked into juvenile hall after being arrested on Sagewood Lane. Police were alerted to the sound of gunshots in the area, and the caller saw two males walking along Whispering Wind Drive, just north of Sagewood, about a minute after the shots were heard. Police made contact with the two nearby and arrested one.
5:56 p.m.: A woman said a man was harassing her and her mother outside a baby shower on the 300 block of Evans Street. She said the man drove back and forth in front of the house spinning the truck’s tires, and was yelling her mother’s name at the house. He was gone when police arrived.
8:08 p.m.: An alleged domestic dispute led to the arrest of a man for battery on the 1700 block of Parker Polich Court.
Friday
8:32 a.m.: A 20-year-old was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 1200 block of Wilson Avenue after a woman said he refused to leave.
3:28 p.m.: Security caught one of four people allegedly trying to push a cart with “high-priced merchandise” out of the garden center at Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road. The woman who was caught was cited and released.
4:22 p.m.: Police arrested a man for allegedly being drunk in public outside Walgreens, 2810 S. Tracy Blvd., where an employee reported the man was bothering customers.
