Checks for $1,000 each were presented during the Tracy Sunrise Rotary Club meeting Dec. 5 to representatives of Brighter Christmas and Tracy Interfaith Ministries.
Dave and Pam Warta, organizers of the three-day celebration Nov. 17 to 19, had promised before the event that any income above expenses would be donated to the two charities.
The Wartas have announced that a second Tracy’s Home for the Holidays will be scheduled next November.
