A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, Dec. 9, for longtime Tracy resident Esther Salazar, 77, who died Nov. 25 at her home.

Born June 1, 1935, in San Bernardino, Ms. Salazar had lived in Tracy the past 53 years.

Survivors include five children, Elizabeth Collins and Diana Perez, both of Tracy, Patricia Medina and Debbie Rodriguez, both of Manteca, and Manuela Rodriguez of Stockton; 20 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were two children, Alfred Rodriguez and Luciana Rodriguez.

A celebration of Ms. Salazar’s life will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at Tracy Foursquare Church, 301 W. 12th St. Graveside ceremonies will be scheduled at a later date.
