Mr. Corsaro was born to Michael Angelo and Theresa (Stella) Corsaro on Feb. 10, 1921, in Nallen, W.Va., where he worked as a coal miner. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He moved to Tracy 55 years ago and was a sanitation supervisor for the local Laura Scudders factory until his retirement in 1983.
Mr. Corsaro was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation and American Legion and a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. He and a group of friends met daily at McDonald’s, 3430 N. Tracy Blvd., for morning coffee.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Clara A. Corsaro of Tracy; two daughters, Angalena “Angie” Ender and Kathy Cacayorin, and her husband, Roger, all of Manteca; a stepson, David Main, and his wife, Roya, of Lodi; a son-in-law, Fred Ramirez of Tracy; and a brother, Pete Corsaro, and his wife, Carol, of Waterford.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Rose Corsaro; a daughter, Annette Ramirez; a son-in-law, Herman Ender; and eight siblings.
Tuesday’s Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Burial will be in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed immediately by recitation of a rosary.
