Streets in downtown Tracy are closed Friday, Oct. 19, as Tracy High caps off its homecoming week with an annual parade at 3 p.m.

Homecoming royalty along with class floats will begin their parade route at Central Avenue and Sixth Street. The group will travel on Central Avenue to Ninth Street where the route will turn to B Street and then traverse to 10th Street and on to East Street. Hundreds of students are expected to line the street showing with green and gold school colors.

Vehicle parked on the parade route must be moved by 1:30 p.m. Friday.

The homecoming theme ‘Decades’ will have students take a trip through the past from the disco era to hippies and punk rock.

Festivities will continue tonight as the Bulldogs face the Lincoln High Trojans at West High’s Steve Lopez Stadium.

The sophomore game is scheduled for 5 p.m. with the varsity game following at 7:15 p.m.
