Today’s Remember When “mystery photo,” top left, shows a Tracyite being served lunch in 1983 at The Student Chef, a student-staffed restaurant that offered lunches at San Joaquin Delta College. Who was being served, and what was his connection with the college?



Last week’s Remember When “mystery photo,” bottom left, showed the new Tracy High FFA officers for 1987-88 in May 1987.

Several readers identified some of those in the photo, but Scott Conner earned extra points by naming them all. Top row, left to right: Rich Affonso, president, and Tony Vaz, vice president. Middle row, left to right: Frank Morelos, reporter; Diana Bacchetti, treasurer; and Kim Amaral, secretary. Bottom row, left to right: Chris Trinkle, sentinel, and Kristen Baier, chaplain.

Besides Scott, others who responded are Nancy West Neal, daughter of former FFA adviser Bud West, and Jason Freeman and Frank Morelos.
