Jaguar All-Sport Passes

DETAILS: The Kimball Athletic Department has Jaguar All Sport Passes to adults who will attend athletic events throughout the 2012-13 school year. Each pass, a $300 value for the cost of $100, admits one adult to any home game, except playoff games, on the Kimball High campus, including football, volleyball, soccer, water polo, basketball, wrestling, swimming and track and field. Passes are available in the bookkeeper’s office starting Friday, Sept. 14.

DETAILS: The Boys &Girls Clubs of Tracy will have signups for its flag football league. through September 14 during club hours at the Lowell Avenue clubhouse. The league begins practices on Sept. 14 and games begin Oct. 6. Boys and girls ages 6 to 14 are welcome to sign up.

Junior golf
WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon, every Saturday from September through February.
WHERE: Putting for Birdie, 20065 S. MacArthur Drive
DETAILS: Putting for Birdie driving range will host clinics for young golfers, ages 7 to 17, every Saturday starting Sept. 8. There will be three eight-week sessions, each session an hour long, with specific times determined by the number of golfers in each age group. Clinics will be held rain or shine, and golfers can bring their own clubs or use clubs provided by the instructor.

Junior Wolf Pack Cheer

Oktoberfest 5K fun run
WHEN: Registration at 8 a.m., run begins at 9 a.m.
WHERE: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1635 Chester Drive
DETAILS: A 5K fun run, about 3.1 miles, will go through the neighborhood around St Paul’s Lutheran Church. The run is part of the church’s Oktoberfest celebration. Entry fees will benefit the Kimball High water polo teams and Building Together Today. The run is followed by a pancake breakfast for all runners at 9 a.m.; nonrunners are also welcome at the breakfast for a small donation.
COST: $30; those who register before Sept. 14 pay $20 and get a T-shirt and goody bag. Checks should be made out to Bella Vista Christian Academy.
