Police were called at 11:11 p.m. for the shooting at a residence on the 11700 block of Larch Road, according to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Sgt. Shelby Oliver.
It’s believed that more than one person was involved in the shooting but investigators are unclear on exactly how many, Oliver said. It appears they could have been party crashers, Oliver added.
“They came and were told they were not welcome, they left, and a shooting (occurred) after that,” she said.
One man was seriously injured when he was shot in the stomach, Oliver said. He was still in surgery at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Oliver said the other two victims sustained minor injuries. One man was treated at the county hospital for bullet wounds to his hand and leg, while the third man was treated at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital for a graze wound, she said.
The ages of the men who were wounded were unavailable.
Deputies couldn’t confirm if the shooting was gang-related, but Oliver said investigators wouldn’t rule it out.
Tracy police first responded to Larch Road, which is outside of Tracy city limits, and secured the crime scene until sheriff’s deputies could arrive to begin their investigation.
The police closed off Larch Road from Tracy Boulevard to Corral Hollow Road to all traffic for more than two hours.
Danelle Saucier and her husband were trying to get to their home on Larch Road when they got stuck at the Corral Hollow Road roadblock. She was surprised that a shooting had occurred on the block.
“It’s a pretty private area, and most people are separated and you don’t see your neighbors,” she said. “It’s nice and quiet. Parties don’t happen that often.”
Oliver said information about the shooters was still being gathered early Sunday morning and that sheriff’s detectives were en route to the scene around 1:45 a.m. to continue their investigation.
Anyone with information about the shooting should call the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office at 468-4400.

LoL-Larch Road looks like giant methlab community.
Wrong age if the person was turning 16.Does sound like you have an interesting viewpoint on who causes crime since there really isn't enough info from this story to assume your theory.
Hopefully everyone will be alright and the people who did the shooting will have a nice long stay away from society.
