Tracy police received 224 calls for service Tuesday, Aug. 28. The following is a sample of those calls.
9:19 a.m.: A caller reported someone vandalized a house he was remodeling on the 2900 block of Colony Drive.
10:36 a.m.: A caller reported a homeless man possibly living in the bathroom at Galli Family Park, 2341 W. Lowell Ave. He said there was a bunch of clothing in the bathroom. Police removed the clothes.
3:33 p.m.: A caller reported a woman with a toddler was holding a sign that read “please help me.” The caller requested an officer check on the woman, but he called back nearly 20 minutes later and he said the woman got into her car and left.
4:42 p.m.: A caller reported his bulldog was dead in his backyard on the 2700 block of Holly Drive. He said the dog was a year old and healthy, and he suspected someone had killed it.
5:11 p.m.: A store clerk at CVS, 3320 N. Tracy Blvd., told police she had a video of a man stealing a customer’s wallet off the counter at 3 p.m.
7:53 p.m.: Police arrested a 26-year-old man for a drug charge following a traffic stop near Lowell and Parker avenues. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
