Elvis will definitely be “in the house” here Aug. 11.

The house, in this case, is the Tracy Elks Lodge, where Jeremy “Elvis” Pearce will present “A Tribute to the King” to climax the Elks’ annual car show and dinner.

Pearce, who lives in Fresno, is considered one of the top Elvis look-and-sound-alike performers in the nation, according to Mike Conners of the Elks.

“Jeremy has performed here before and was a big success,” Conners said. “What he started doing in a third-grade talent show has turned into a lifelong passion.”

Activities at the Elks Lodge, 6400 W. 11th St., will begin Aug. 11, a Saturday, with a car show at 1:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by Pearce’s Elvis performance.

Reservations, $20 per person, can be made at the Tracy Elks Lodge, 835-4413.

For information: Mike Conners, 836-0592.
