Great Aqua Challenge & Duathlon

DETAILS: On Your Mark Events and Eagal Lakes Resort will host an open-water swim and swim-run duathlon. The Aqua Challenge is a 2.4-mile, 1-mile or half-mile swim, and the duathlon is a 1-mile swim and 5K run on Eagal Lakes’ trails. Entry fees include a T-shirt, awards and raffle entry.
COST: $40 for Aqua Challenge, $55 for duathlon, with $5 discount for all who register in advance

Dirt, Sweat and Beers

WHERE: Eagal Lakes, 12 Lorenzen Road
DETAILS: A 200-meter swim, 7-mile bike ride and 3.1 mile run will challenge athletes of all abilities. Families and relay teams are welcome. All participants receive a T-shirt and beer (or root beer) upon finishing the race, and medals will be given to the top three individuals and relay teams in each age group. The race begins at 9 a.m. following same-day registration at 7:30 a.m.
COST: $55 individual, $140 relay team, with pre-registration discounts of $10 for individuals, $20 for teams, before July 22. There is also a $5 parking fee.

Improve Fall swimming does not effect Mid-Valley Swim League eligibility and will prepare athletes for the high school season in the spring.

The run is followed by a pancake breakfast for all runners at 9 a.m.; nonrunners are also welcome at the breakfast for a small donation.
