view slideshow (38 images)
Independence Day celebrations wrapped up in Tracy on Wednesday, July 4, as hundreds filled Tracy High’s Wayne Schneider Stadium one last time to watch the fireworks show.

The stadium will be torn down and a new one built in a 13-month project.

Fireworks & Stage FX America lit up the sky above the stadium with a 15 minute show, ending with a fiery finale.

Before the show, the Tracy AllStars dance team gave a patriotic performance for the crowd, and Bailey Poole performed the national anthem.

Families brought blankets and chairs to camp out on the turf

Is the city on a budget? I looked up in the skies blinked and the show was over. Nice yes; short definitely and disappointing :(
