Tiffany Lykins, a new member of the Tracy Camera Club, claimed the group’s top prize for the month of May with “Rosey Bee” in her second meeting as a competitor.

While snapping photos of water drops on roses in her front yard April 25, she happened upon a bee collecting pollen and caught two shots of it before it flew away.

Lykins used a Nikon D7000 with a 40mm f/2.8 macro lens set at f/7.1 with a 1/1600 shutter speed at ISO 400.

• The Tracy Camera Club meets at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month on the second floor of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave. New members are welcome. For information: Mickey McGuire, 835-6758 or
