Millennium 6, Le Grand 2

The Falcon girls soccer team traveled to Le Grand on Monday to claim their second win of the season, 6-2 over the Le Grand Bulldogs. Ivy Torres led the Falcon offense with three goals, Salina Elias scored two and Drew Robbins scored one. Elias also had four assists for the day. The win puts the Falcons at 2-0.

Millennium 2, Galt 1

The Millennium girls soccer team started its 2012 season with a 2-1 win over Galt High at the Tracy Learning Center on Friday.

The Falcons scored 18 minutes into the game when Ivy Torres scored on an assist from Salina Elias after the Falcons got a free kick from 30 yards out. Torres scored again in the 26th minute on a penalty kick to give Millennium the 2-0 lead. Galt scored soon after, and neither team scored in the second half. Goal keeper Drew Robbins had five saves for the day.

The Falcons play next at Le Grand High on Monday, and are at home again against Delhi on Tuesday.
