Soccer: West holds onto lead in TCAL

West High’s soccer team strengthened its first-place standing in the Tri-City Athletic League with a 3-0 win over Stagg High on Friday, Oct. 14, at West High. It puts Stagg at 7-0 in the TCAL, 12-2 overall, with the next game against Edison on Wednesday at West High’s soccer field.

Adrian Gonzalez scored two goals for the Wolf Pack on assists from Alex Valencia and Miguel Madruga. Rolando Hernandez scored the other goal on an assist from Madruga.
