The Jefferson 4-H Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, its first meeting of the year, at the Jefferson School cafeteria on Linne Road.

Enrollment will continue until Nov. 14 for boys and girls ages 5 through 19.

The Jefferson club emphasizes research-based knowledge and educational projects for youth and families in San Joaquin County.

Their work raising animals may be the best known, but 4-H’ers also take part in arts and crafts, cooking, sewing and dog training, along with rabbits, swine and dairy projects.

For information: Marlene Hokanson, 814-7032.
