Woman hiding at Dennys restaurant Tuesday night told police she was kidnapped from Stockton.

According to police reports, the victim told officers she was taken from Stockton by a man with long black hair and a bald woman and driven to Dennys in Tracy.

She said they stopped to use the bathroom at Dennys on Tracy Boulevard around 11 p.m., and when she and the other woman went inside, she fled her captors and hid.

The victim told police that the couple was driving a full-sized tan van with a tire on the back doors. She said they still had her wallet and cell phone.

The described van was reportedly seen coming and going from Motel 6. Reports from the sheriff’s office indicate the suspect woman was seen at the motel trying to get a room for the night.

Tracy police checked the area and nearby motels for the suspects’ van, but the vehicle was not found.

The victim’s brother reportedly picked her up, and Stockton police advised her that she needed to go to the Stockton Police Department to make a report.

Stockton police were not available for comment.

Did anyone ever tell that woman not to accept rides from strangers? That's a rule of basic parenting.
