Tracy police logged 211 calls Wednesday, Jan. 12, including the following reports.
5:22 a.m.: A woman said that her red 2006 Dodge Charger was stolen during the evening at Dale O’dell Drive. She also said her 2005 Dodge Neon was broken into. Keys to her Charger were found in the Neon. The woman’s Social Security card was also reported missing.
6:04 a.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of selling illegal drugs and weapon possession. The man was seen carrying several large backpacks out of the back of a truck to a house on Hampshire Lane. The SWAT team was sent, and four other men were detained for their involvement.
7:46 a.m. A call was made from Perko’s Café reporting a car was burglarized on Guinevere Court.
10:09 a.m.: A house was broken into sometime within the past three days on Rockingham Way. The suspect broke in through the bedroom window and left through the kitchen sliding glass door. A Social Security card was reported stolen, and the caller said prints were left behind on the bed.
1:32 p.m.: An employee at DMV, 2785 Auto Plaza Drive, reported that a man tried to register a stolen 2003 Indian motorcycle. The suspect said he bought the bike at a storage lot but did not have the proper paperwork. The motorcycle was probably stolen in Suisun, police reported, and the motorcycle was towed.
8:03 p.m.: Five teenagers dressed in black were seen carrying a street sign into a trailer park on Holly Drive and Kavanaugh Avenue.
10:43 p.m.: A person reported that the entrance gate to the Driftwood Apartments, W. Grant Line Road, was broken down by an unknown suspect. The caller heard a loud crash and witnessed a dark sedan leave the scene and head east on Grant Line Road. It appears someone kicked the gate in, since a footprint was discovered.
