Ready is a female Labrador-pit bull mix up for adoption at the Tracy Animal Shelter. The shelter also has many cats, some already spayed or neutered, that need homes, and the staff seeks donations of canned or dry cat food, canned dog food and rawhides.

• The Tracy Animal Shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For information: 831-6364.
