Cruising to victory with 30.58 percent of the vote was Celeste Farron, who was appointed to fill a vacancy on the board a month ago and was the top vote-getter in a four-person field.
The second of two seats up for grabs on the board will belong to Jass Singh, a candidate who ran on a platform of lower taxes and fees and cutting district expenses and won 27.29 percent of the vote.
Singh will replace Mike Klinkner, who had served as an appointed member of the board since the summer, when Matthew Balzarini stepped down from his seat. Klinkner garnered 24.92 percent support.
Trailing far behind the other candidates was Rajesh Dighe, who got 16.45 percent of the vote.
