The Jaguar team placed sixth of 35 teams with a score of 101.5. The tournament champion was Oakdale with a team score of 228.5.
Kimball junior Matt Cooper, wrestling in the 195-pound class, was first in his class after he won three matches by pin, including a third-round pin on Ricky Hertz of Bellarmine High in the championship match.
Senior Nate Pearlman (285) also took gold with three consecutive pins, including a first-round pin on Tony Lopez of Merced in the final.
Trent Nicholson (138), a junior, took second place in his class. He started with two pins, won his semifinal match with a technical fall and lost on a 7-3 decision to Jake Jacobson of Oakdale in the final.
Also medaling was senior Logan Finley (220), who went 2-2 and placed fifth in his class.
