Tracy driver Scott Winters clinched the 2010 All American Speedway championship in the NASCAR Grand American Modified division this past Saturday in Roseville. Winters was also the track’s Modified champion in 2007 and 2008.
He clinched the top points total for the season with a second-place finish on Saturday after Josh Brock. Brock commented that he was never more than a car length ahead of Winters over 35 laps, but it was a clean race the entire way.
Winters is also last year’s track champion at Stockton 99 Speedway, and also has twice claimed track championships at Madera Speedway.
