Rocky, a 6-month-old miniature dachshund mix, likes to cuddle and give kisses, according to Animal Rescue of Tracy volunteers. His foster family is working on house training him after a late start. Rocky is friendly with other dogs and plays tug and chase. He would do best in a home where people are around most of the day. Rocky weighs about 7.5 pounds and will probably reach 10 pounds at full growth. He is neutered and current on vaccinations and has an identification microchip. Animal Rescue of Tracy has adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall. During the Feb. 16 pet adoption fair, visitors can purchase engraved pet ID tags from USA Trophies for $5 and a portion of the price will go to the rescue group.
