Heather is a small cat, 1 to 2 years old, who arrived at Animal Rescue of Tracy with three male kittens, all of whom have been adopted. She is ready for a home of her own where she can lounge in the sunshine or a friendly lap. Heather likes to be held and purrs often. She is spayed and current on vaccines, and her adoption fee is reduced to $41 because of a special on tuxedo-marked and all-black cats that lasts until Feb. 14. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall.
