An open house will be Sunday, March 10, for Shirley M. Hall, a longtime local homemaker, who died of cardiac arrest May 29, 2012, at the family home. She was 81.

Mrs. Hall was born July 16, 1930, in East Dubuque, Ill. She worked as an instructional aide at South Elementary and Tracy High schools and also worked in accounting.

She was survived by her husband, Ferrol Hall, who died Feb. 19, 2013; three daughters, Jennifer (Hall) Patteson, Susan (Hall) Patteson and Heather (Hall) Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mayme and Wilbert Lester; and two siblings, Frances Lester and Eugene Lester.

The open house will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Hall family home, 1501 Duncan Drive. Arrangements will be handled by Neptune Society of Northern California.
