The competition was held at Jesse Bethel High School in Vallejo on Saturday, Nov. 3, and included divisions based on age and belt rankings.
Black belt Aaron Fronda, 15, won his division in sparring. Brown belt Nadia Resendiz, 7, was first in sparring and board-breaking and second in forms.
Green belt Darrel Cenido, 6, won his division in forms and board-breaking and was second in sparring. Blue belt Alex Klassen, 11, placed first in forms.
Orange belt Kyle Hilario Ramirez, 5, took first in forms and board-breaking and placed second in sparring.
Yellow belt Omar Ochoa, 9, won his division in board-breaking and placed third in forms.
Yellow belt Zoren Acelar, 8, was first in forms and board-breaking and second in sparring.
