• The Tracy Art League is accepting applications for a total of $1,000 in scholarships for graduating seniors who will pursue a major in art. The Tracy Woman’s Club will award a $500 scholarship based on the same interview process. Students must submit a portfolio of at least 10 percent recent works (completed within the past three years) that exemplify versatility and use of various media. • Tracy African American Association welcomes applications for its Wayne Nelson Academic Scholarship from college-bound black students who will graduate this spring from Tracy high schools. The group has awarded more than $60,000 to date. Applications, which can be downloaded from the group’s website, must be submitted by mail no later than April 23.
