Mariana Medrano, a first-grader at Villalovoz School, recently donated 11 inches of her hair to Locks of Love, inspired by friend and classmate Kylie Pederson. Kylie is in remission from Ewing’s sarcoma, a type of bone cancer. Mariana’s mother, Kim Medrano, said it was her daughter’s first haircut.

I think that this is such a sweet story, children are amazing in so many ways, Kylie is a beautiful lil woman, Im partial because she is my grand daughter, she has been through so much and has inspired many adults and children as well, what Mariana did is beautiful, wish we had more caring like this in this world today, it would be a much better place to live, God Bless you Mariana for what you did and Kylie you are amazing and we love you so much, our Lil Fighter.
