A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, June 28, for Salvador Flores, 64, of Tracy, who died May 16 at a mental health facility in Stockton.

Mr. Flores was born in French Camp on June 4, 1948, and worked 20 years in farming as a hay bucker. He was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s and St. John Bosco Catholic churches.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Gonzales and Pauline Palomarez, both of Tracy; a brother, Manuel Flores of Tracy; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Rito Flores and Thomasa Hernandez; and two siblings, Margaret Flores and John Flores.

The Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 1606 Imperial Ave., in Modesto. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 W. Schulte Road.
