Services have been conducted for Ruth Edwina Mazzoni, 80, of Tracy, who died July 20 in Hughson.

Mrs. Mazzoni was born Jan. 21, 1932, in Oakland and lived in Tracy for 27 years.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Peter A. Mazzoni of Tracy; four children, Orlando Mazzoni, and his wife, Nancy, of Half Moon Bay, Sandra Greer of Tracy, Jenny Erskine, and her husband, Robert, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Peter Mazzoni, and his wife, Debbie, of Brentwood; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are seven siblings, Walter Furtado, and his wife, Callie, of San Leandro, Kenneth Furtado of Orville, Jim Furtado, and his wife, Sabina, of Canada, David Furtado, and his wife, Laurie, of Pleasanton, Barbara Caisse of Galt, Babe Mari, and her husband, Fred, of Galt and Pat Poe, and her husband, Jerry, of Middleton, Idaho; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Manuel and Edna R. Furtado; and five siblings, Manuel Furtado Jr., Lorraine Furtado, Richard Furtado, Ronald Furtado and Harry Furtado.

Burial was in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road, following a Mass at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., handled arrangements.
