Jaguars split team matches
The Kimball High girls tennis team (6-3) lost 7-2 against visiting Oakdale High on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Kylie Moxley and All Bangayan each won their individual matches.
On Sept. 26, the Jaguars won six singles matches and three doubles matches in a 9-0 home win over Lathrop on Sept. 26.
None of the Jaguar players lost a set in the team victory.
Bulldogs defeat Bear Creek
The Tracy High girls tennis team (3-2 San Joaquin Athletic Association) scored a 7-2 overall victory over Bear Creek (2-3 SJAA).
Only two individual matches were lost by Tracy in the win.
Team forfeit gives Kimball win
Lathrop High forfeited the team match to Kimball when it failed to field a six-golfer team on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at French Camp Golf Course.
The win puts Kimball at 6-3 on the season, while Lathrop drops to 0-10.
Maya Crooms shot a team best 38 during the individual rounds on the par 32 course.
Wolf Pack forfeits match to Tokay
Unable to field a six-golfer team, West High girls golf team (2-6, 2-5 Tri-City Athletic League) had to surrender the match to Tokay on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club.
Ashley Gonzalez shot a team-best 49 on the par 37 course.
Kimball wins in straight sets
The Jaguars volleyball team downed Lathrop High 3-0 on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Iris Nelson had eight kills and two assists while Sarah Nunez tallied two kills, 17 assists and eight digs. ZaNiah Bradshaw also notched 13 digs.
Tokay sinks West water polo
The West High girls water polo team was beat 21-1 by Tokay High on Tuesday, Oct. 1. No other details were provided by the team.
