Police log: Woman threatened after big fight

Police received several calls starting at 6:12 p.m. Monday about 30 kids fighting in a park near Bastille Court and Peony Drive.

One woman said two people “got jumped,” and that suspects with baseball bats got into a Honda, and one guy yelled “he was going to shoot her.”

Everyone was gone when police arrived 20 minutes later.

The Tracy Police Department received 168 calls on Monday. The following is a sample of those calls:

2:59 a.m.: Police arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of public drunkenness after a caller reported the guy was “knocking on people’s doors and yelling” on the 3200 block of Holly Drive.

9:15 a.m.: A woman on the 200 block of Willow Creek Drive reported her car was egged and someone wrote “bitch” on it. She said she thinks she knows who did it.

9:24 a.m.: A caller reported vandalism to a vacant house on the 1800 block of Thelma Loop. It looked like someone had a party there, the caller said.

10:07 a.m.: Police arrested a woman on a $20,000 warrant after a caller reported a guy was grabbing a woman and yelling at her at Van’s Ace Hardware, 2695 N. Tracy Blvd.

10:15 a.m.: A classroom was broken into at Tracy High School, 315 E. 11th St.

11:10 a.m.: A man reported his car was burglarized at Wendy’s, 725 W. Clover Road.

11:43 a.m.: A caller reported two guys got in a fight while others were standing around in front of Kay Jewelers, 3200 Naglee Road.

12:09 p.m.: A man said his truck was vandalized while it was parked at Corral Hollow and Linne roads.

1:47 p.m.: A caller reported a home was vandalized on the 1700 block of Laurelgrove Lane.

1:49 p.m.: Someone broke into a car and stole things on the 1600 block of Green Springs Court, a caller reported.

2:17 p.m.: A woman on the 500 block of East 11th Street reported losing her wallet with cash and her Mexican identification and consulate cards.

3:01 p.m.: A woman reported a man threw a rock at her car as she drove Domino’s Pizza, 708 W. 11th St. The guy was gone when an officer drove by 23 minutes later.

3:08 p.m.: Police arrested a woman at the Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, 1420 N. Tracy Blvd., once she was cleared for release after a caller reported she was drunk in the emergency room and was belligerent with employees.

3:10 p.m.: A woman on the 1600 block of Etta Way said she was in the process of moving out of a home when her husband noticed a side door was kicked in and things were missing.

3:20 p.m.: A caller reported a guy was hit in the head with a tire iron at the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. The guy was taken to a Manteca hospital, but did not want police to get involved.

3:20 p.m.: A caller reported three teenage boys were smoking drugs in a garage on the 3000 block of Buthmann Avenue.

4:35 p.m.: A caller reported kids smoking drugs near the playground at Ceciliani Park, 1600 Cypress Drive, and was “concerned due to small children being around the park.”

6:49 p.m.: A caller asked police to talk to a guy went to the caller’s house on the 2900 block of Alene Avenue to complain about loud music, and spouted off about “stupid Mexicans” when the two got into an argument.

6:49 p.m.: A woman reported that she had her nails done at Pro Nails Art, 3071 N. Tracy Blvd., but when she said afterward she didn’t like them, an employee “grabbed her and tried cutting the nails off.” She said she was left with “red marks on her hand.”

8:10 p.m.: A man on the 500 block of West Whittier Avenue said his house was burglarized while he was gone. A neighbor said it happened on Friday.

8:53 p.m.: A man on the 800 block of Lawn Court reported that he had just noticed a gun missing from his home. It was a Winchester .30-30 rifle, he said, that he bought a long time ago.

9:22 p.m.: A man reported someone in a red Camaro shot at him with a pellet gun at Costa Court and Duncan Drive. He said the pellet hit his car or mailbox.

9:37 p.m.: A caller from Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, 1420 N. Tracy Blvd., reported a guy was dropped off by his uncle at the emergency room, and he had a gash over his eyebrow and other cuts to his head. He refused to say how he was assaulted though.

9:48 p.m.: A man on the 400 block of Central Avenue reported his car was broken into.

10:17 p.m.: A caller from Carl’s Jr., 2380 W. Grant Line Road, said someone ran up and grabbed food that was being handed to a customer in the drive-through lane.

10:51 p.m.: A caller reported hearing two gunshots near Butler Court and Kavanagh Avenue. A second caller reported hearing gunshots as well, but police found nothing when an officer drove by 11 minutes later.
