Tracy police received 190 calls for service Wednesday, Aug. 29. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:31 a.m.: Police arrested a 23-year-old man on an outstanding warrant for theft and burglary on the 1900 block of W. 11th St. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
3:38 a.m.: A car was reportedly driven into a business on the 2400 block of Naglee Road. The woman driving the car told police she did not need medical assistance. Officials advised the front double doors of the business needed to be boarded up. Code enforcement was called to check the structure of the building.
6:47 a.m.: A Hyundai Elantra was stolen on the 400 block of Glenbriar Circle.
7:17 a.m.: A car was broken into and some items stolen on the 400 block of Darlene Lane.
7:20 a.m.: A community mailbox was broken into on the 400 block of Glenbriar Circle.
9:27 a.m.: A woman told police someone broke into her car in the parking lot of World Gym, 2340 East St. She said the window was broken and her credit cards stolen.
9:37 a.m.: A truck was broken into on the 4100 block of Flint Lane and several items were taken.
10:35 a.m.: Police arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of vehicle theft following a pedestrian stop at Park and Ride, 2650 Naglee Road.
10:44 a.m.: Police arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of shoplifting on the 3200 block of Naglee Road. Also arrested was an unidentified teenage boy. The adult was booked into county jail, and the teen was released to his father.
11:46 a.m.: A landlord called to talk to an officer regarding a tenant dismantling the deck of a rented house on the 2300 block of Berryessa Court. He said he suspected it was due to the renter getting evicted.
12:43 p.m.: Police were called to Bonfare Market, 15 E. Grant Line Road, for a report of a 1997 Chevy Camero stolen from the parking lot. The suspects were a white man in his 20s with blond hair and carrying a gas can, and a white woman with blonde hair wearing shorts. The theft was caught on a surveillance camera. The caller said it was clear the thieves could not drive a standard transmission very well. The car was found, but the location was not identified in the police log.
6:06 p.m.: Police arrested a 29-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman for outstanding warrants on the 600 block of Palm Circle. The warrant for the man was for burglary, and the warrant for the woman was for a probation violation. Both were booked into county jail.
7:06 p.m.: Police were called to a park near Annamarie Way and Antonio Loop for bushes on fire. The caller said a group of children was seen riding bicycles away from the park.
