Tracy police received 160 calls for service Monday, May 13. The following is a sample of those reports.
11:30 a.m.: A student at Kimball High School, 3200 Jaguar Run, told a staff member that he “wanted to instruct her on his ‘penis,’” according to the log. He was sent to the office and “admonished in length” about violating the school district’s educational code regarding sexual harassment. The staff member requested only that the student be verbally disciplined. His parents were notified about the incident.
3:48 p.m.: Police responded to Save Mart Supermarkets, 1950 W. 11th St., where a woman’s purse was allegedly stolen. The victim said she put the purse down in the aisle to pick up a case of water, and it was gone when she went to retrieve it. Officers took a report on the incident.
6:57 p.m.: A customer at Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road, allegedly had her purse stolen from her cart while shopping. She didn’t know when it was stolen, but she was able to find it about 15 minutes after realizing it was gone. She had $15 stolen from the purse.
9:01 p.m.: Officers arrested a 23-year-old man during a pedestrian stop in the area of Holly Drive and Portola Way for possession of a controlled substance.
