The stunt that group of boys did is an arrestable offense. The 2 that stayed were probably recognized by store employees and thought better of leaving. The 2 contacted by police should have been arrested rather than warned. They're probably all laughing it up good over their stunt. You say they had to endure consequences from their parents, and I hope you're correct, but I would rather have their parents drag their butts back to Save Mart and apologize in person.
The guy who hides in the bushes and scares tourists on Fisherman's warf in SF is more funny than those.
Downtown James Brown, in Sacramento, is more funny than this.
I mean I am not a Comedy snob, far from it, I can enjoy the likes of say, Jeff Foxworthy. But I really just do not see the comedic value in any of this.
I do not know these kids but if this is the worst they ever do, they/we will be just fine.
For those who have to turn everything into politics and disrespect the leader of our country (whether you like him or not) you are showing no better morals.

You guess wrong. I like everyone else make mistakes and have not reached perfection. However, unlike the kiddies involved in this criminal act I nor anyone I've know in my 51 years has ever engaged in an act of vandalism. Let's be clear, you and others can call it a stunt, prank, or use to term taggers but it's vandalism and those perpetrating such acts are vandals.
Firedupmama claims two vandals or at least accessories to the crime are 4.0 students, oh really? The Newtown and Aurora murderers were both supposedly high up on the intelligence meter, so what's your point? I'm by no means comparing vandals to murderers but a GPA is a lousy defense.
By the way, you might want to check things like the pathetic average college level civics exam scores, or the percentage of teenage kids who can't name the country from whom we declared independence. Excuse me if I'm not impressed with a 4.0 these days.
You're kidding, right?
If kids see murderous fanatics decapitating people on YouTube does that mean it's ok for them to follow suit? Did you ever hear the old saying about jumping off a bridge? Probably not. Dum dee dum dum, well Mr. Officer or Judge, I saw it on YouTube so what's the big deal.
As for the rest of your comments, please do us all a favor and never have children. Let's see how funny you think it is if someone came to your home and vandalized your property.
Thanks for showing the attitude which is helping to lead our society down the path of regression. I blame at least in part on a failed education system, texting, YouTube, and yes, Facebook. Oh. yea, throw in reality TV especially any show with housewifes or shore in the title.
One more thing, according to the article the vandals are teenagers. Maybe the cute little words like prank or stunt could be used if the kiddies were in second grade but definitely not here.
Sincerely: Obama the 2nd
You are amused by smashed milk containers? Boy, your hemispheres must be severed.

Derp. Future liberal democrats most likely.
I guess this is a new fad. When I was in high school 40 years ago our fad was streaking. Kids,if you don't know what that is you'll have to ask your grandparents, You won't believe it.

Why the Hell weren't they in school? And warned not to go back? You know those 2 scumbag kids don't care about that warning and are going to be in jail someday. I really wish people would take care of their damn kids.
Here's how it should work, post pictures of the miscreants and their wonderful parents at every market in Tracy so the rest of us know who they are and can keep an eye out for what I'm sure are future dasdardly deeds. Ban the miscreants and their parents from all Tracy markets.
Make the miscreants and their parents serve community hours getting down on hands & knees scrubbing the floors of every market in Tracy for a month or so.
Find some concerned citizen volunteers who are tired of this kind of bull and with a peace officer overseeing the action, go to the home of the miscreants and start breaking everything in sight. Notify the parents insurance company so they cannot get away with making a claim.
Oh yea, record the event on video and post it on the internet for all to see what happens when you have lousy parents who raise miscreants.
Wishful thinking? Of course, but wouldn't it be nice?
