An employee at the mobile phone store, 2114 W. Grant Line Road, was opening the business just after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, when she heard the display alarms go off inside the store.
She then spotted “a large hole in the wall,” the log states.
The employee told police that she noticed phones were missing from the displays as she left the store.
When officers arrived, they found the employee waiting at a next-door business, because the T-Mobile store was still unsecure.
A police report is expected.
