Two men inside of a white Ford F-150 truck allegedly cut the chains on four display tires in front of the store around 3:44 p.m. and drove off with them in the bed of the truck.
The employee was unable to get a license plate number but described the truck as being lifted with custom black-and-chrome wheels.
Tracy police received 137 calls for service Thursday, March 7. The following is a sample of those reports.
8:34 a.m.: Officers arrested a 14-year-old girl on the 200 block of Redwood Avenue following an argument at a residence. She was detained on the charge of battery. Officers also discovered that she was a runaway teenager from Fresno.
9:05 a.m.: A 34-year-old man who was allegedly involved in a hit and run in the area of Central Avenue and Tracy Boulevard was arrested. The driver allegedly sideswiped another vehicle. Officers arrested the suspect when witnesses directed them to the man and his vehicle, which was parked at a business a short distance away. His vehicle, a Toyota Highlander SUV, sustained front-end damage and needed to be towed, according to the log.
9:44 p.m.: Police responded to the 100 block of East Sixth Street, where two people were arguing. One woman was allegedly outside of a residence slamming her vehicle door and causing a disturbance. The resident said the woman was banging on the front door, and kept complaining that her phone was inside the house.
