Tracy police received 182 calls for service Wednesday, April 17. The following is a sample of those calls.
10:41 a.m.: A woman n the 200 block of Lasata Drive told police her car was repossessed for nonpayment, and the person who originally bought it took it back. She was informed by police that the matter was a civil case.
11:58 a.m.: Police arrested a 23-year-old man for an alleged battery following a pedestrian stop near Lincoln Boulevard and Lowell Avenue.
1:04 p.m.: A business clerk at Go Green Recycling, 250 W. Valpico Road, reported a man entered his business to sell a stop sign. He said after the man was told they would not buy the sign, the man left the stop sign behind. The sign was returned to city officials.
1:22 p.m.: A store clerk at Sunset Liquors, 2355 Parker Ave., reported receiving a counterfeit $50 bill.
4:66 p.m.: Police arrested a 45-year-old man for an outstanding burglary warrant at Heinbockel Inn Bar and Grill, 11714 Finck Road.
