Tracy police received 170 calls for service Tuesday, Nov. 6. The following is a sampling of those calls.
2:47 a.m.: A man told police he caught a man attempting to take gasoline from his vehicle on the 200 block of West Clover Road. The alleged gas thief drove away, but the hose line was still in the opening to the caller’s gas tank.
8:31 a.m.: Police arrested a 36-year-old man on an outstanding warrant for driving under the influence after an officer made a traffic stop near Larch Road and Holly Drive.
1:02 p.m.: A woman told police someone stole her purse out of her unlocked car on the 1000 block of South Tracy Boulevard.
1:25 p.m.: Police arrested a 31-year-old man for burglary on the 500 block of Clarence Bromell Street. The arrest occurred after a caller reported seeing a man going into a vacant house. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
3:41 p.m.: Police arrested a 31-year-old man for auto theft on the 3800 block of Tracy Boulevard. The arrest occurred after officers found a car reported stolen out of Walnut Creek. The man was also charged with possession of stolen property and drug related charges.
9:02 p.m.: Police arrested a 50-year-old woman on suspicion of drunken driving on the 800 block of South Tracy Boulevard. She was booked into county jail.
