This 1-year-old female calico is at the Tracy Animal Shelter and needs a home. The shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For information: 831-6364 or “City of Tracy Animal Services” on Facebook.

This Boston terrier-American Staffordshire terrier mix is about a year old and weighs about 40 pounds. Energetic and friendly with dogs, cats and people, Panda knows basic commands and is housetrained and crate trained. She is spayed and current on vaccinations, and she has an identification microchip. Animal Rescue of Tracy also has many kittens and young cats in a variety of colors available for adoption. The nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group has pet adoption fairs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays in the Macy’s wing of the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. Members will also make arrangements to show animals in rescue during the week. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
