Raider, a quiet 3-year-old longhair, likes to tumble and play and then relax on a friendly lap. He and his siblings are available for adoption from Animal Rescue of Tracy, a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group. Raider has never been around dogs, so rescue volunteers aren’t sure how he would react to them. Animal Rescue of Tracy has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays in the Macy’s wing of the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road. Members will also make arrangements to show animals in rescue during the week. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
