Annie, a terrier mix, is 10 to 12 months old and weighs about 15 pounds. This high-energy pup is deaf and is learning hand signals from People for Pets rescue volunteers. Annie has been crate trained and uses a doggie door. She is recommended for an active family. She has been spayed, has an identification microchip and is current on vaccinations. People for Pets has several other dogs ready for adoption and hosts adoption fairs between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays at PetSmart, 2477 N. Naglee Road.
