Services were Thursday for Montserrat M. Schell, 63, a native of Girona, Spain, who died Friday at her Tracy home.

Born Aug. 28, 1950, and raised in Spain in the Catholic faith, Mrs. Schell had lived in Tracy 22 years. She worked 24 years as an interpreter for AT&T Language Line phone service.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Lorin Schell of Tracy; four children, Damien Hopping of Tracy, Diana Hopping-Rais of Oakland, Stephanie Hopping of San Clemente and Nicholas Hopping of Oakdale; four sisters, Laura Molas Portell, Ana Maria Molas Portell, Maria Carmen Molas Portell and Maria Nuria Molas Portell, all of Spain; and two grandchildren.

Her parents, Nicolas Molas Bosch and Adela Portell Garre, preceded her in death.

Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements. Inurnment, in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, will be private.
