Born July 16, 1954, Mr. Costa was self-employed as a backhoe operator.
Survivors include his mother, Adeline Costa of Tracy; two sisters, Nancy Hall, and her husband, Steve, of Manteca and Dori Weinkauf, and her husband, Tom, of Milwaukee, Wisc.; four nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and great-nephews.
His father, Manuel L. Costa, preceded him in death.
Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements, and a guest book can be viewed and signed at www.frymemorialchapel.com. A private Mass of Christian burial will be scheduled at a later date.
